UAE Ministry of Education launched 'Green Education' partnership, signing MoUs with UNESCO and UNICEF to advance climate education. Initiatives under the partnership include green-accrediting 50% of UAE's schools, training over 2,400 educators and launching 'Children's Voice' and 'Educator's Voice' initiatives
Saudi Arabian fashion designer Ghaydaa Majdaly used 3D technology to design and produce clothes in an effort to reduce waste
Apparel Group - fashion and retail conglomerate - announced new initiatives as part of its sustainability agenda including full carbon accounting of its operations
۞An eye on COP28
COP28 Higher Committee met to review progress towards November’s Summit, stressing on the importance of economic prosperity along with emissions reduction

The number of circular economy policies expected to be implemented in the UAE within 4 key sectors: manufacturing, food, infrastructure and transportation. UAE’s Circular Economy Policies Committee met on 28 April to review the implementation plan of Circular Economy Policy 2031
